Day at the Beach
Day at the Beach June 2009
Jerry and I have been at Camping on the Gulf since Nov. 2008 and this is the first weekend we have enjoyed the BEACH. That is so crazy, live on the beach and just drive by it every day..... But we sure enjoyed it starting Saturday by going at 5:30am and watching the sun come up.
Doesn't Jerry look comfortable??
The HAIR is not windblown..... that's the new COTG style....HaHa!!
Gulf water has been around 80 degrees, still chilly!
We have several fishermen on the shore mornings and evenings. I don't know my fish so can't tell you what they catch, but they are long and feisty.....
To our fishermen friends, bring your pole and come see us!
This is the beach early in the day. Our guests grab their spot on the beach early. We have a lot of LSU and UA fans here.
The beach is pure white fine sand.......SO NICE!
Camping on the Gulf is very FAMILY oriented.... It's great for the kids.
Beach row is full everyday. These campsites are booked a year in advance. It's unbelievable! The Gulf front half of the campground is all sand and palm trees. The back half is grass, shrubs and trees... Quite a difference....
